וַיְהִ֣י אַֽחֲרֵי־כֵ֗ן וַיִּשְׁאַל֩ דָּוִ֨ד בַּֽיהוָ֤ה ׀ לֵאמֹר֙ הַאֶעֱלֶ֗ה בְּאַחַת֙ עָרֵ֣י יְהוּדָ֔ה וַיֹּ֧אמֶר יְהוָ֛ה אֵלָ֖יו עֲלֵ֑ה וַיֹּ֧אמֶר דָּוִ֛ד אָ֥נָה אֶעֱלֶ֖ה וַיֹּ֥אמֶר חֶבְרֹֽנָה׃
Pagkatapos nito, sumangguni si David sa Walang-Hanggan, na nagsasabi: “Aahon ba ako sa isa sa mga lungsod ng Juda?” At sinabi sa kanya ng Walang-Hanggan: “Umahon ka.” At sinabi ni David: “Saan ako aahon?” At sinabi Niya: “Sa Hebron.”
